Every spring and summer, the fashion spotlight seems to be shed on red, white & blue nautical looks. And each season I welcome these summery, sail-away-with-me colors and prints. Below, this color scheme has found its way to me via a vintage 1980’s, red, white and blue number (R.J. Stevens by Carol Escritor), adorned with a pocket square and ladylike polka dots. The second dress below is a current day version of this nautical, all-American look, with its appropriately colored, playful anchor-print.
