PAINT Nail Bar (Rosslyn) Arlington:

PAINT Rosslyn is my new happy place!! The space is absolutely gorgeous, with floor-to-ceiling windows and chic seating (couch and bar) in the light-filled space; thoughtfully decorated with trendy accents like neon signs, animal print throw pillows, tropical wallpapered bathrooms and a designated backdrop for photos.

Their main claim to fame is the toxic-free nail services that they provide. Did you guys know that even existed? I didn’t. They carry healthy gel nail brands like Bioseaweed and Madame Glam. Bioseaweed, with vitamin E and K, will not cause damage to nails (but still provides weeks of “chip-free high shine”). Madame Glam offers “Vegan, Cruelty-Free, 9-Free and Gluten-Free gel polishes”. All of Paint Nail Bar’s lacquers are vegan and formaldehyde-free, the gel polishes are water-based (not a resin hybrid, so they won’t dry out your nail plates), and they offer a healthier alternative to dip polish and acrylic nails. Helloooo healthy nails (FINALLY)!!

And, let’s talk about the actual bar area that completes the PAINT Nail Bar name– HOW CUTE IS IT? (See photos below). For me, this is everything. Somehow the promise of a glass of champagne or wine just makes the entire experience. Enjoy their fume-free space with a glass of rosé while shopping their selection of clothing and accessories, lounging on the couch or perched at the bar.

PAINT has taken extremely thorough cleaning and safety precautions so that you can feel entirely safe, including placing a protective barrier between the nail technician and customer.

I LOVE my nails, and I can’t wait to get back here to try out the healthy alternative to acrylics, while sipping a glass or two of champs.
