Foxglove Retreat:
I love wine, I love the countryside where there are more cows than people, and I love adorable spaces with breathtaking views. This Bluemont, VA getaway spot (found on airbnb), located just an hour out of D.C., checks all of the boxes.
The room we stayed in had a cuute Parisian theme, with tranquil balcony views of the pool and good ol’ Shenandoah Valley. Nearby attractions include plenty of vineyards and breweries, and the teeny town of Purcellville has the best vintage shop.
Take a relaxing dip in the pool, sip on some vino at Otium Cellars or Bluemont Vineyard, snag some vintage treasures from Nostalgia Vintage, and then fill your belly with delectable French food at Petite Loulou Creperi.
If you’re into breweries (if you breathe and stuff), then definitely check out Dirt Farm Brewing. The views are fantastisch and the selection is all of the noms.
