Happy Halloweeeen!! More Fall Goodies..

Oct 31, 2013 | Eats, Lifestyle

Happy Halloweeeeen!  Hope everyone plans on dressing up (or is already in costume)!  Ah, an excuse to spend even more time thinking about clothes and taking pictures.  Here are some festive edibles to make your Halloween a bit more..Halloweeny!

  1. Ogre eye hot chocolate (spiked with Amaretto works too!):  Marshmallow, malt ball eyes do the trick.  I used fancy Starbucks here, but normally I use the low cal hot chocolate (25 cals, I think) and add fat free vanilla coffee creamer, mmmmm.
  2. No bake pumpkin oatmeal cookies: Great for a quick snack (and convenient for the more distracted folk..can’t burn these!)
  3. Jack-O-lantern sweet potato fries: I wish I had a pumpkin cookie cutter, but they came out pretty cute without it!  Slice the sweet potato up in rounds, carve out the face, and bake the little guys at about 450, for 30 minutes.   I made a few that were brown sugar & cinnamon and coated another batch in sriracha.
  4. Andd worth mentioning— the Trader Joe’s Pumpkin Pancake & Waffle Mix and Godiva pumpkin coffee are deeelightful!
