I’m readyyyyyy. Thanksgiving is tomorrow, which means it’s pretty much Christmas…and I could not be happier. I’ve been ready since Halloween. Now, I love Halloween and Thanksgiving very much, but Christmas??…Holymoly, I can’t even put into words the excitement and joy the entire month of December brings me. Eeeeeeeee! So many holiday treats to make, shiny prezzies to buy, and dazzling dresses to flaunt! Give me snow and a fireplace over the tropics any day.
A couple of suggestions on festive touches to make your holidays a bit more enjoyable:
You will need a holiday apron to bake all of those peppermint treats with! And you will also need a go-to, easy-peasy sugar cookie for those times you’re on the run– aka the entire December, because there are holiday parties left and right, ahhhhhhhh!
So, below I have listed a few aprons that will bring the magic. And as for the sugar cookies…..Trader Joe’s! Yeeessiiir, these tasty little treats (I promise, they are dEelish) are out of a box..icing and sprinkles included. How handy! I used olive oil instead of the butter it called for. Buttuh just aint a staple in my home. Oh, and while we are on the topic of Trader Joe’s (best place everr), I must mention their Wintry Blend coffee. It’s SO good. So SO good.
Mmmk, the aprons:
So, theeese fashion aprons are A-maazing…they look like little party dresses! And this is an adorable holiday apron on Etsy. Check out this pink polka-dot peplum apron– fancy shmancy! The beautiful sheer, lace-edged apron in my photos is a vintage piece from my grandmother, but Etsy has a nice selection of delicate vintage numbers, like this one. And this one from Etsy is just exquisite. Ahhh there are so many good ones!– These are adorbzz.
A veryy happy Thanksgiving to everyone!!
