Mix n Match Away the Blues

Aug 7, 2014 | Fashion

Pairing multiple prints is easiest when it’s in the same color family (and I kind of have a thing for monochromatic outfits mm).  Normally I opt for prints that vary in scale so that it’s not one big dizzying mess.  It can work with multiple same scale prints, though, if one color is noticeably lighter than the other.

Ah, but isn’t it fun to put stuff together that some might find just a tad off kilter??  I’d also like this look if the shirt was a glorious mustard yellow, with little red clown shoes all over (not a shout-out to Mckie Ds, ew).  Right?  Totes.  Teeootles.  Maybe I just really need it to be the weekend.  Kladliahdglhsdl.  Happy effing Thursday..what-a-tease.

Outfit:

  • Pants – Forever21– similar pair here (or just look up “harem pant” in the search bar)
  • Jacket – H&M
  • Tank – Vintage
  • Bag – Vintage
