Another quick dinner that is way healthier than any restaurant version of pesto pasta. I found the pesto mix at my local grocery store. Pesto in itself isn’t unhealthy, it’s the oil that is mixed with it that adds the calories– I used a small amount of olive oil.
Saute some garlic and an onion; cook some broccoli and throw it in the skillet; pour your pesto sauce in and add the cooked whole wheat/multi-grain pasta. Add some cherry tomatoes and fresh basil for extra flavor.
