The Versatile Tee

Jul 11, 2013 | Fashion

I don’t wear t-shirts all that often, but this particular one is chic enough to go with just about anything.  Comfy and glam..not a bad combo.  Dress it up, dress it down..pop a blazer over it (and over any outfit ever)..

Obviously it’s not really Hermes…..I doubt they even make t-shirts like these.  That’s part of the fun of it.  I found this one on Etsy, where you can also find the Chanel drip, Versace, YSL..you name it.

Because I went with the laid back jean shorts for this first look, I incorporated heels and a necklace.  The second outfit combo is based around a suede studded skirt, so I dressed it down from there with the flats and left out the jewelry (although a nice chunky ring would have been nice).

The blazer from look #1 is from Forever21 (look for their end of season sales…this one was only $12!).  The blazer in look #2 is actually a little boy’s blazer/tux that I found at the thrift store.  Always look in the little boys’ jacket isle!!

A black clutch went well with the first look, adding contrast with the light colors, while coordinating with the heels; and white was worn with the second look to balance out the large amount of black, staying consistent with the dress-it-down idea, and flowing nicely with the print of the t-shirt.
