True Food Kitchen Ballston Quarter

True Food Kitchen, located in Ballston Quarter, is now re-open and serving up fresh, healthy food in a beautiful and comfortable outdoor space (with an option for take-out)!

WE HAD SUCH A FANTASTIC DINING EXPERIENCE!!  There were plenty of DELISH vegetarian options for me (yay!), while the boo had no trouble finding a meat dish to devour (although, he couldn’t believe the JackFruit in their special marinade was actually a fruit and not beef short-rib!).  The atmosphere/vibe was just perfect, and the service couldn’t be beat.

We nestled into a corner table on the outdoor patio, beneath a cheerful yellow umbrella, overlooking the Ballston Quarter plazaWatermelon mojitos and Honeydew margaritas were an easy drink choice (and you know we didn’t stop with one round!).

My favorite starters were the Edamame Dumplings, followed by the Edamame Guacamole, and the Ancient Grains Bowl was pretty much my dream meal.

Skipping dessert would be a bad move ha– no matter how full you are, try the Chocolate Quinoa Brownie Sundae and the Key Lime Mousse!!  Ugh too good.  See photos below of all of the yums!

I can’t wait to try the fall menu when it comes out!!
