Goodbye beautiful Vail.   I have returned home from a perfect storybook village (the closest us Uhmercans can get to a European style village without ever leaving the country), amid looming mountains and pleasant travelers.

The snowboarding is great, the views are fantastic, and the town is welcoming.   See my suggestions below for an extra cozy bar, and a dinner option involving a gondola ride up the mountain.

Outfit – Print mix-n-match:

  • Jacket- Barbour (here is a similar one)
  • Top- vintage Halston
  • Scarf- Rue 21
  • Aztec print cardi– prob T.J.Maxx

There is a beautiful river walk linking Lionshead Village and Vail Village (both adorableee parts of Vail):

A bar to try:

The George, in Mountain Haus (it’s just before you walk over the bridge into the town).  It’s the comfiest bar everr, with a room of pool tables, foosball, bean bags that look like hamburgers, and reclining chairs!

Dinner involving a gondola ride up the mountain:

There are two places I’ve tried at Vail that require a gondi ride up, and a second ride across the slopes, to reach the restaurant.  These are The 10th and Game Creek.  Gondi-ing up at night is absolutley breathtaking.  You float along in your own little heated bubble, overlooking the twinkling lights of Vail below.  I would recommend The 10th over Game Creek, however– Game Creek is woah overpriced.

The 10th:
